EAR

Our ears give us the ability to hear and help us with balance. Ear disease can cause significant discomfort and hearing loss, making proper management of ear disease critical. The ear has many different parts, where nerves deliver sound signals and feelings associated with balance to the brain. All of these parts are susceptible to trauma and infection, which can result in minor or severe damage to the ears. The unique domain of otolaryngologists is the treatment of ear disorders. Dr. Busch is trained in both the medical and surgical treatment of chronic ear infections. He also manages congenital (birth) disorders of the outer and inner ear.

HEARING & BALANCE

Hearing loss can occur slowly and painlessly, and can unknowingly cause significant problems in communication with family, friends, and co-workers. In infants and young children hearing loss can significantly affect language development and learning. At the Hearing & Balance Center our team of audiologists along with the doctor evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing problems and vestibular (balance and dizziness) disorders at any age. We also dispense and fit hearing aids as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program geared to improve your quality of life.

SINUS & ALLERGY

Problems in the sinuses include infection and allergies, caused by a number of different allergens. Through allergy testing, the doctor can determine what allergens affect each individual therefore further treatment such as immunotherapy can be used to treat such symptoms related to the sinuses and allergies.

Upon evaluation and/or the analyzing and interpreting of a comprehensive polysonography, Dr. Busch can determine if sleep or snoring problems are caused by neurological and musculoskeletal diseases, lifestyle or other factors.
